The Association for Forests, Development and Conservation (AFDC) organized the closing Event for "the Environmental Educational Awareness of Oak Honey" on June 5, 2010 at the UNESCO Palace - Beirut.

The purpose of this Event was to reward the schools, teachers and students who participated in the project.

In the presence of the Mrs. Nena Allaham representing the Minister of Education, and Mr. Hassan Moukaled representing the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Georgio Colombo from UCODEP, Mrs. Vichky Salameh from the CRDP, and Mrs Sawsan Bou Fakhreddine, AFDC's Director General,

Finally, the event ended by distributing the trophies, environmental educational kits, and Green Quest games. The three winning schools were awarded with a one day trip to Ramlieh Echo- lodge (MFDCL):

- Beirut Modern School (first prize)

- Deir El Ahmar Secondary School (second prize)

- Marj El Toufoula, Baakline (third prize)
